I see a stag in the background. I get the feeling that somehow the man in the picture had connections with Canada and get the feeling of mountains and clean fresh air and also of a lake near a mountain. I feel that before the man became a hero that he used to enjoy going out into the country in the mountains on clear fresh days and would occasionally shoot a deer/stag and that he may have had some kind of trophy hanging on a wall in a cabin in the mountains.

I feel that the stag came to give the soldier courage, stillness in a time of danger and the ability to disguise himself in enemy territory. I feel that although the man may have been a hunter before joining the military he would have had a great respect for the animal kingdom and would have had a special affinity with deers and stags.

I feel he was a kind hearted man with a great deal of courage and pride. I feel he had tenacity. I also get the feeling of two little girls around him, with brownish hair round about the ages of 4-6yrs. Their hair chin length and wavy tied in a bow at the side of the head, both looking very much alike.

I see their mother wearing a pinifore that crossed over in the front with a small flowery design on it and feel as if she is looking out of a window towards a lake with a small boat tied up against a jetty. Someone appears to be sitting on the jetty fishing and there is a young boy about 9yrs old with a jam jar tied with string trying to catch some tiddlers.

I feel happy and secure in this environment. It feels kind of idealic, but I feel the woman may be pregnant again.

I don't know if any of this makes any sense. Would love to know more about the man in the photo if you can tell me I would be very grateful.
