About three years ago, we received this map from a friend (who has been prospecting/treasure hunting for over twenty years), concerning a vast depository of buried treasure. It is said that individuals have stumbled upon this treasure and came away with enough gold to sustain them for some time. Upon returning to the area for more gold, the markings to the entrances that was left by them were gone, vanished, and/or covered over. Someone had mysteriously erased all traces of any markings and covered over or camouflaged the entrance. They would not find the entrance and take away any gold.
Those that have knowledge of the Big Lue treasure map, have made numerous expeditions to locations that they think it might be. Deciphering the Big Lue treasure map proved to be more difficult than first thought. It is said that even Coronado heard stories of the Big Lue and went in search of it, only to fail.
Numerous theories have been made as to the location of the Big Lue. Some have claimed to have deciphered the Big Lue treasure map, however, neither the theories or the claim of having deciphered the Big Lue treasure map, have been verified.
