This is treasure related as far as finding artifacts from the Hernando de Soto Expedition in the 1540's, but borders on the paranormal since finding a piece of silver in Florida dated 1539, has years later led us to other discoveries in Kentucky and Missouri (some of which actually have the Explorer's name on them with dates). One small piece of copper even has de Soto's signature on it. It is my belief that we just did not happen upon them but can be tied to the small piece of silver from Florida which too has Soto on it.

Can one artifact lead to the finding of others years later from the same person over hundreds of miles apart? This story is extraordinary and true.

You are possibly looking at de Soto's own spur rowel (it too seems to have his name on it). Archaeologists are having a hard time believing all this.
