OTHERPLANE

A friend was taking us to verify suspected mines and buried caches of treasure. One of the areas he took us to, had to do with an account related to him by a friend. We pointed our device in the direction of this hill that our friend had been told the treasure were buried in. Indeed, there a target in that direction. We moved to another area to get a fix on the exact spot, but when we arrived at our new area and aimed our device in the direction of this hill, the target was nowhere to be found. Puzzled, we turned around and took aim in the opposite direction, and picked up what we were looking for. We moved a mile from the last location and took aim again. The target appeared to be directly in front of us. Following the device's pointer, the target was soon below our feet.

There were a natural chamber (similar to a well) where gold bars and artifacts had been placed into and the hole covered over. The bottom of the chamber was 12 feet and the distance from the road (our present location), was approximately 69 normal walking steps. This location would have to go on our list of priorities, for some other time.
