When my father was a young boy, around 1957, he started to have weird dreams. Every night, he'd have the same dream... A pirate captain named James Roger. Captain Roger would make him his cabin boy and would treat him cruelly. Finally, Captain Roger would end up being murdered by his first mate, Joseph McVair.

This dream continued for over three weeks and finally stopped. A few days later, my father and his friends went to the local cemetary to look around. They found that most of the graves are from the the 1600 to 1700's and the headstones showed the cause of death on them. He came across a headstone that read: James Roger, 1567-1726, Murdered by his 1st mate, James McVair.
