OTHERPLANE

Entity Or Guardian Angel

... by Jane

When my oldest daughter, Missy, was around two years of age, she had an imaginary playmate. We lived in a trailer at the time. Missy named her playmate Bubio, and I humored her when she would play with Bubio. After Missy was born and around 1 year of age, Bubio was with her. At that time, I began to hear noises at night. I would wake my husband to check it out, but there was never anything there. I had the feeling that someone was "peeking" at times when I heard these noises. I began to believe there was a ghost of sorts present.

We moved our trailer to another town, in Kansas, when Missy was around 2. The noises didn't stop. My husband even went outside one night when it was snowing to see if there had been someone there, and there were no prints in the snow. Missy continued to play with Bubio. Then one night, I heard singing. I thought Missy was awake in her room singing the song "Lullaby" that I often sang to her at bedtime. But as I approached her room, the singing stopped. Missy was fast asleep.

We moved our trailer to another town. By this time, Missy had a little brother and I didn't hear so much about Bubio. I thought he/she was gone. Now when I talk to Missy about this she tells me that she could actually see Bubio when she played. But the story doesn't end there. After several moves, we ended up in a house in Kansas. No one had given any thought to Bubio for years except in interesting conversation. Missy was around high school age. She didn't tell me this for many years, but one night she woke up and standing at the foot of her bed was a young girl with long, black hair that was braided. Missy said it didn't scare her because she knew it was Bubio. She only saw Bubio for a very short time, then she disappeared. I don't think she's seen her since although she says Bubio is her guardian angel.

No one but me has ever believed her story, I heard the singing, so she doesn't relate this to many people. She says anytime she has told people of Bubio, they laugh at her and think she's crazy. I know that there was something there.
