Before we moved into the house we are now in, we lived in a large house in Santa Ana, California. Right after we moved into the last house, I saw a ghost standing outside the kitchen window. I only saw him for a moment, then he was gone. He looked at me the same way I looked at him (surprised). I didn't tell my husband until after I saw another ghost in our bedroom a few days later.
The first ghost was wearing a plaid flannel shirt and jeans. He had brown hair. The second ghost was wearing a white t shirt and jeans. He had long, blonde hair in a ponytail. I got up the nerve to tell my husband, and he told me he had seen a shadow move across the bathroom door when he was the only one home. Because of what he had seen, he believed me when I told him about the ghosts I had seen. I knew they were not real live people because I could kind of see through them. They both disappeared quickly after I saw them.
After that, I heard sounds in our bedroom early in the morning that sounded like Indians chanting. I heard a little girl a number of times, and I heard an old man's voice a number of times. When I was downstairs working on my computer, I could feel someone close by me so strongly I would finally get up and look for someone watching me. At night, I could only go to the bottom of the stairs in the dark. I felt like there was a brick wall in front of me there. I even held my hands out to see if I could feel a wall, but I pulled my hands back before I touched where the wall seemed to be. I couldn't bring myself to extend my hands all the way out.
When I first moved into that house I put a large silk ficus tree in one corner of the game room downstairs. It made me uncomfortable there, so I moved it elsewhere. I realized that that one corner of the game room felt cold and scary. I tried to stand close to it, but it felt as though electricity was being drained out of me there. One day I stood fairly close to that corner and yelled, "Okay, I'm not afraid of you! Come and get me!" "Prove to me you're here!" A few days later I noticed a bookshelf that had been next to the wall where corner was, was moved about a foot and a half away from the wall. I asked my husband, and he did not move it. We had no children or anyone else living with us there.
Another time I found my Nordic Track exercize equipment had been moved right into that corner of the game room. My husband didn't move it there, either. The television would go off by itself sometimes, or on by itself sometimes. I could be watching the television when I heard it click off, as if someone had turned it off. Other times the television downstairs would go on by itself in the middle of the night. We would wake up because of the noise on the television set, and have to go downstairs and turn it off. Sometimes a light next to our couch upstairs would go on by itself. And our dog would look up at the ceiling and stand up on his back legs trying to see what was up there sometimes. He doesn't do that in the house we are in now.
We had a three-car garage at that other house. The garage door opener had two buttons on it. One opened the garage door on the left, the other button opened the garage door on the right. After a while, the buttons worked the opposite doors for about six months, and then would go back to working like they were supposed to for about six months. Then it would switch back to the opposite again.
