Understanding and Communicating with Entities

Entities may be found all around us, and often are never seen or heard. Some call them ghosts, or poltergeists, yet you will only hear us at Otherplane refer to them as entities.

There are many different forms of entities that we are aware of. We have chosen to classify the majority of them into three groups. The first group is Ethereal Entities. These are not presently taking a physical form but once existed in physical form. Then there are Guardian Angels. These entities have a purpose to guide and help an individual to achieve his/her purpose in life. The third group is Angels, and these entities have never existed in physical form before.

The ones that we are most familiar with are Ethereal Entities. They are all around us, but we must remember that they are not our guardian angels and their sole purpose is not to help us meet our individual purpose in life.

Some members of Otherplane's Gifted Society have learned, or are learning that a friendship or trust can be formed between an entity and a human. Just like friendships with people this takes time and it takes a while to build trust. For those who choose to try communicating with an entity, you should remember that just because an entity can give you an answer, doesn't mean he or she is always correct or always telling the truth. Also, sometimes your questions can be misinterpreted, and you'll get an unintentional incorrect answer. Always remember that you need to make your own decisions based on what you feel and believe.

Many readers write to us asking about how to communicate with entities that are in their home or around them. We always suggest using a device, such as dowsing rods, a pendulum, or even two hangers. You can create any device as long as you can establish a yes, no, and not sure signal that won't be confusing for you. This doesn't have to be an expensive device, or something specifically purchased for entity communication.

The Ouija Board is considered a device. Even though some people think of it as a game, it really does work. Some OGS members have had much success while others have had none. Always remember that if you try to play with the entities, or don't take them seriously, then that is how they will respond to your efforts at communicating with them. If an entity knows that you are serious about the communication then he or she is more apt to take your questions seriously.

When communicating with entities, your questions must be very specific. If the question is too broad the entity won't understand, and may even reply to a different question (like one in your head). One time while communicating with an entity friend I caught myself already thinking ahead to my next question and then noticed my thought question was being answered instead of my verbal one!

With time, practice and a willing entity, communication may lead you to amazing places. It all depends on you and what you want to do with it.
