INTUITION

I am 31 years old and believe I have had this gift for most of my life, for I do not remember suddenly being different - I have always been this way and in fact just thought it was "me", just normal. I did not realize or even think I had a "gift". I have always been interested in paranormal and even envied those who had gifts!

In fact, I was searching the web for information on seeing auras, as my 13 year old daughter, Korinne is very gifted in this area. I came across the Otherplane website and proceeded to read the whole thing. I felt I had finally found someplace where there were some long-awaited answers to my questions.

I wrote to Sam and asked him questions concerning my daughter's gift. I also described a few events that had happened to me, mostly curious - but never thinking that I was at all gifted. Sam wrote back and told me I was gifted, too, in fact that I had four gifts! Here I was, envying people who were gifted and I had four!! He had said that my intuition was very keen.

It was suggested to me that I keep a log. So I immediately started a log for my intuition. I was so surprised once I started this log - I actually had to quit because I was writing in it constantly! I use my intuition almost constantly and did not even know it.

Once I became aware of my gift, I began to practice using it more. "Guessing" at things - who was on the phone when it rang, what was in the mailbox, and paying much more attention to my feelings/thoughts. I immediately saw a growth in my abilities and continue to do so.

It has also been very helpful to talk with the other gifted members. It is hard at first to trust yourself and say what you feel/think because you are afraid of being wrong and looking foolish, but it is a great way to practice and the other members are very supportive of you. We're all here to help each other learn and grow.

It is important to trust yourself and give yourself time to grow. It will not happen overnight, but gradually and with much practice. If you try to push it, you will only slow yourself down.

Another very important thing that has helped tremendously in enhancing my gifts is to deal with past issues that were affecting me negatively. Once I did so, my energy level increased twofold & I saw quite an increase in my abilities.
