Near Death Experience is basically the same as Out of Body Experience. Anyone experiencing Near Death or Out of Body must return to their physical form. Not everyone will get to experience a Near Death. Individual's who do experience Near Death, in some instances, will not die.
The difference between Out of Body and Near Death is that Out of Body is a gift. Individual's who practice Out of Body maintain control throughout the process. Near Death is a spontaneous action at a defined point in time and the individual has no control of the process.
When an individual undergoes a Near Death experience, they usually see themselves and the immediate surroundings where their physical form lies. During this process, the individual may witness a light or they may not witness a light. Seeing a light means that they may die and will go to heaven upon their death. Not seeing a light means they may die but will not immediately go to heaven upon their death.
Out of Body experiences may involve seeing the light, however, this is an indication of a form of communication process directed toward the individual. This Out of Body experience is closely related to a dream that is "real" with the individual actually being a participant.
