A paranormal gift is the ability to achieve a specific level of subconscious state in order to accomplish the desired action and purpose. A person who is able to sense, feel or see things or events, is said to be psychic. We (of Otherplane) call such a person - gifted. All of us have a paranormal gift or multiple gifts, however, not all of us are aware of or have the ability to use our gifts.

Awareness and belief in one's ability/gift is crucial when a person chooses to set themselves apart from others. No longer is a gifted person considered as a freak, weirdo, crazy or abnormal. Although the scientific community has yet to prove that paranormal gifts do exist, societies and cultures worldwide show evidence that paranormal gifts were practiced and acknowledged long before modern science evolved.

An individual sees pictures/snapshots of events but is unable to distinguish or understand their meaning. A few days later, the individual reads in the newspaper or watches the television news, of an event that matches exactly the pictures/snapshots they had seen. And yet, the scientific community cannot explain how this is humanly possible. More and more individuals are stepping forward daily and identifying themselves as gifted. Still others are coming forward to ask if they too are gifted. They are no longer afraid. They are aware and they believe.

The following came about through our (Otherplane) investigation concerning gifts and what or how is one's gift enhanced.

As you read our Related Accounts/Paranormal/Gift topics, i.e., "Ten Gifts and Nineteen Gifts", by our questioning the entities about where they lived, what color skin, their age when they died and so forth, the words "long hair" occurred again. This prompted direct questions pertaining to "long hair" and its significance.

Long Hair (shoulder length and longer) enhances one's gift. Long Hair represents a similarity to "our friend". Shaving the head reduces one's gift by 50 percent. Artificial coloring hampers one's gift.
