On a recent field trip and speaking to a local resident of the area, the resident said, "There's plenty of sightings in the area and the locals have got used to it. They will see a bright light criss-crossing above and soon after, military aircrafts will be in the area as if looking for something. You know... there's a local rancher with some personal experiences in animal mutilations."
"Otherplane would be interested in meeting and talking to the rancher. Would you take us to see this rancher?" "No problem! We'll go see him tomorrow", say's the resident.
| "I've found a number of my cows dead, that could not be explained. I even took some pictures of the dead cows and had the cows examined by a veterinarian. I recall one morning while making my round on the south end of the ranch, there were a bunch of cows just mingling around in one area. As I got closer, I could see a calf laying on the ground. The calf looked dead and my suspicion was correct when I examined the calf. Because of a number of incidents such as these, standard procedure is to notify the sheriff and the vet. There have been people killing the cows and blaming the aliens for it. While waiting for the sheriff, I got my camera from the truck and took pictures of the dead calf.
I had the film developed and put the incident out of my mind. When I got the pictures back, in one of the pictures... I noticed a small speck several hundred above the ground. Using a magnifying glass, it looked like an aircraft of somekind... maybe a UFO... I don't know for sure." |
| "One time I found a full-grown cow, dead underneath a big old tree. Examining the cow showed no bullet wound. Again, I took pictures, called the sheriff and the vet. When the vet called, he said, "The cow's heart is missing and I cannot find any cut marks." The darndest thing about this is... we didn't see any tire or shoe marks in the area of the dead cow. Thinking of the picture with the dead calf and the small speck, I wondered how in the world did the cow end up under the tree... there were no broken branches, no tire or shoe marks, and not even any indication that something landed there." |
Extensive investigations have been carried out concerning animal mutilations and speculation/theories are abundant. National media attention along with numerous self-professed experts have flooded the public domain with material. However, one thing is constant... dead cows continue to be found.
