I am VERY interested in this reincarnation theory! Please, could you possibly tell me of anything important, or why I have such a fear of spiders and the dark? Could this also be a reason for not having many friends? Please respond. This question is eating away at me!

Reincarnation is a matter of personal intuition... a thought, feeling or belief that you were once or more than once, someone else in another life-time (the past). Deja Vu is often associated with reincarnation because certain events or sceneries presents a feeling of having been there before and even to the point of being able to identify/describe objects/places or give directions to a location... before seeing the object/place or going to the location. Have you hear of the remark... "I feel like I've been here before!"
Is it important to know what or who you were in the past, we think not. What is important... is who you are now and what you intend to do with your life (in this life). If you were a "bad" person in another life, does it mean that in this life... you are a "bad" person also? What do you think about yourself (in this life)? How do you go about making changes that will make you a better and productive person? Our meaning of productive is... believing in yourself first (above all others), and being able to accomplish anything you choose to do. It does not matter if other people do not recognize your accomplishments... what is important is, that YOU recognize your accomplishments and feel good about yourself.
Fears of any type is common for everyone... especially the dark and creepy crawlers (spiders being number one). The dark involves our sense of "sight"... we are always afraid of "what we cannot see". Spiders are ugly, furry, multi-legged creepy crawlers and they automatically invoke a chilly feeling of spine tingling terror. Their very touch on our skin surface (sense of feel), makes us retreat screaming/cussing.
We all have friends and lots of them. But having true friends (that you can really count on to be there for you), is usually counted on one or two hands. True friends are kept tightly close to you and should never be parted with. For you to be a true friend to someone, you must demonstrate that which you would expect of a true friend.
If the question bothers you... take a good look at yourself first. What are you doing that others shy away from? How do you change that? If it is important to you that others like you.... than work on it (appearance, behavior, maturity, knowledge, etc.). There's always something that you could improve/work on.
Finding fault with a past-life is not the answer... YOU are here, YOU are real, and only YOU can make YOU better. Stay focused and Go-for-it!
