I'm glad I've found something similar to what I experienced a few years ago. I left a house in my car, travelling down a road I know very well and all of a sudden it became a dead end (which it is not, in reality..). I turned in what I believed could bring me out in the right direction, when I was confused by the main road's main establishments - it was similar but not correct... I then proceeded north - along the coast and.... no roundabouts! I remember virtually willing one to appear because I was getting a little scared by now - it was also slightly uphill - incorrect. It appeared, although it was about the third one! I then drove home and only 20 min had passed. The next day I realized my car had travelled approx 300 km's!! It had only seemed like around 20 min's to me though.

It's really hard to relate or even speculate on things that's almost transitional. It was like sleepwalking (if I may say), but how do you account for the traffic all around you. Very interesting experience. Maybe you should bring a video camera and let it run when things are getting out of normality. Then from there you can relate whether it's you or something else. I wonder what would happen if you ran out of gas during that time. Would things reset or would you be left to just wonder where you are.
