On Dec 4, 2002, in the evening, my dog suddenly became afraid of something outside our home. He desperately tried to get into the house (though the glass door). Thinking it was maybe another animal he was afraid of, we dismissed it.
That same night, after I went to bed and closed my eyes (only for a few minutes and wasn't sleeping yet). A feeling of almost suffocation made me open my eyes, I looked up to see a black large shadow of nothing over me. The blob of black moved aside and I was seeing white vaporous movement along side my bed. It looked as though it was desperate to tell me something. It wasn't a figure, but a mass of busy movement of fibor optic sort of stuff (hard to explain). I told my husband, that this "stuff" was trying to tell me something. I was worried, but then fell asleep. The next night it happened again. Then went away.
On December 7th, my Father passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack. Since we had to go to another city for the funeral we stayed in a hotel, and nothing happened there at night. Keep in mind, I wasn't thinking about the visions at the time of the funeral. It was only after that I remembered that it happened. We came home on Thursday and at bedtime again, there were the visions again. In addition, I saw three lights coming toward me then dissipating as if to melt or drop like water. This sort of thing doesn't really scare me, because I have had strange things happen to me since I have been young, like ESP, etc. I once heard that sometimes spirits show up on photos. I had one picture left in an instant camera, so I took a picture of the part of my room where I have been seeing this stuff. In the picture, there is a face (flesh colored even) that looks like my older brother who is still alive, but it could be my other brother who died as an infant, because it has different facial features such as his nose, forehead. I keep thinking it is trying to warn me of something. Could it be a warning for my brother, or could an infant still grow to be an adult on the other side.
P.S. I have showed my family this picture and they see it too. It is so real. We also see cats and maybe another animal that my look like a dog or wolf. Also a tv went on by itself last night and nobody was even in the room. Can you help me interpret this, or do you have any advice on how to get more information. I feel like it is something I need to pursue immediately to find out what it is trying to tell me.
I am not crazy. I am a sane normal person, but this is starting to make me think I am.

When an infant passed on, that infant will not grow "on the other side". So we can rule that one out. The other encounters could be valid or coincidental. Since you have the pictures to show then why not take some more pictures when these thing started surfacing again. See what comes up on the picture.
In the meantime, you have to approach things logically. Although there are things out there that cannot be explained, we must keep an open mind and minimize the true encounters as factual. Pictures will prove or disprove it. Thanks for your input and if you would like to send a scanned copy of the picture to konohiki, we would be grateful.
