I've seen a ghost a few times in my grandmothers house. I think that it's my great grandfather and that he is watching over us and he has been here for a LONG time. Who it is... is not important. You say, "But I don't want it to leave because I think it is good and I want it to STAY." You have seen and have developed a comfortable relationship with this entity. As your grandfather was a loved relative and a trusted friend (of yours), why not maintain that same type of relationship with this entity. There are several methods for establishing communications with the entity... visit our Paranormal section (Paranormal, Related Accounts/Communicating w/Entities, Reading Library/Paranormal/Paranormal Articles/Communicating w/Entities). Also visit the paranormal sites on the Internet.
We called ours... Our Friends. In time, all except one of them departed. The one that remained is now referred to as... Our Friend, and we have developed a trusting relationship, as well as a working relationship (in all of our endeavors). And yes, we do know who our friend is and why our friend remains with us.
