I have always been interested in what is beyond. Paranormal, and the occult seem to fascinate me to no ends. I don't know if I have any gifts, I would like to think so. But maybe it's just normal what I feel sometimes.
Little story for you. Deals with my grandparents old house. I was raised over there because of my parents working all the time. So I knew it well. I never got along with my grandfather because that's just the way he was, until his death. He seemed like he was sorry he had been the way he had been, but it was too late to change it. But I could always feel something in the house.
My great grandmother died in the house when I was 4, on a Saturday morning, while I was watching cartoons over there. I don't know if it is when it started but things happened around there all the time. Water turning on, lights turning on and the toilet flushing. My grandmother just laughed and smiled and said, "That happens all the time, you get used to it".
So I wasn't supprised when things in the house happened. But after my grandfather's death I actually felt it stronger and I would get scared. A house that I never thought of as evil actually felt that way. When things happened I could feel it directed at me, though nothing bad happened. It was like whatever was there was actually noticing me for a change. Where as before, things had just happened... like someone was living their life in a separate universe.
I was kinda creeped out. It got to where I would not go into the house unless my father went in with me... and Iam 21. Nothing much scares me but this did for some reason. I don't know if I was the only one that felt it. The house is sold now after my grandmother died this summer. So I'll never be back. And every place I have lived, has been "clean" since then. Though now and then, I get a feeling like someone is trying to tell me something... like they are close and with me, but it goes away and has not been as strong as what I felt at that house.
Last week I gave the spirits a chance to speak. I sat in a dark room with a candle lit and "opened the floor for questions". I basically said that I knew someone was there and if they wanted to speak they could. But nothing happened. I think I will give the pendilum method a try next time.
I'm sure this is something you have read millions of times. But if you can get anything from it, I would love to know. Do you think my grandparents are still around or is someone else trying to tell me something. If they are, do I even have the ability to listen to it (communicate with them).

Do not devote much of your time and energy in your attempt to communicate with your grandparents. You did have an opportunity in the past but now that window for you is closed and you should respect that.
Everytime you sense something unusual is happening, you automatically associate the strangeness to your grandparents. That is not unusual... for you have deep lasting memories of them and that house. From your accounts of your grandparents, it is clear that you have deep respect and love for them... and that means alot to them.
