I am asking you about me and my twin sister. I know that supposedly twins have this bond that no one else has, but I was wondering if all twins are like we are. We don't have to talk to each other most of the time, we just look at each other and we know what each other is thinking. I don't mean like I know that she wants a drink or something... it is more like a whole conversation. We can go for a very long time doing this. We get caught up in our own little world and if there is someone in the same room we forget about them completely. We also say things at the same time, often it has nothing to do with the conversation that is taking place.
My twin also knows when I get hurt, like if I fall off my bike or something (even when I don't tell her), and things like that. I don't know about other twins but we are nothing alike. She is quiet, organized and very sensitive to people and their feelings. I am louder, more of a risk taker and I say what is on my mind whether people will be offended or not.
We are so different. She has deja vu (like all the time). I have dreams which come true. We also get feelings about people and places that we can't explain to other people, but we both get them (often at the same time). Is this a "twin thing" or something else?

Extensive research have documented that "twins" and even triplets or quads, etc., have a special bond between them beyond those of people who do not have a twin. The activities that you have described is normal with most "twins". Some "twins" are reluctant to talk about their special bond and consider this "taboo" territory... while others are so accustomed to their special bond/activities that they have taken-it-for-granted or forgotten altogether.
Then, there are the 1 percent(ers) who have less of a special bond (activities-wise), but non-the-less do feel that special bond... that do not exist with another sibling (brother or sister) who is not a "twin".
Now for the "something else" that you mentioned... There are abilities/gifts in "everyone". One or more persons may have the same ability/gift. An ability or gift surfaces when the individual becomes aware of the ability/gift... believes in, focus(es), and puts into practice that ability/gift. As with you and your twin, you are exceptional in that... you both seem to share the same abilities/gifts. By mentioning the word "gift(s)", we are talking about... the Paranormal (that "six sense" or whatever that "not all people" get to experience or are aware of).
