I just lost my Dad to cancer on Feb 8th. It was a very short illness (9 weeks) and we really didn't think it was going to be that fast. He was only 54 years old and was trying to fight it. In the end, he suffered a seizure and fell into a coma state. We had him on life support for 4 days and realized there was no hope.
I believe in life after death, had a few psychic experiences myself. While waiting for my Dad to pass, the thought that his soul was going to pass through us soon, I was really looking for it. About 2 minutes before he died, I saw a "tornado shape", about 4 or 5 inches long, white with sparkling colors, leave from his head. It only lasted about 1 second and it was gone. I though maybe it was my imagination or from crying and being so torn up inside. I was really close to him. But now I want to know if this could have been his soul leaving his body. I am really missing him and having a hard time dealing with this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, that was the spirit of your father departing his body. Some people will experience a cold chill, a smell or just an overwhelming feeling of Love. No matter how it is experienced, that tender moment will always be there for the recipient to cherish for a long long time.
