I have a strong affinity for the peoples and cultures of Scotland. I used to believe this was because I had scot ancestry. I found out later in life, when I was investigating my genealogy, that I am not of scot descent. I have also often dreamed of places in Scotland that I have later seen photographic or film images of and recognized. I need to tell you that I have never been to Scotland. I was within fifteen nautical miles once when I was in the Navy.
I also believe that I was some sort of soldier in that life. This is because of an experience I had while performing at a rennaissance festival in Southern California. I was portraying a peasant and had never, to date, even touched a sword. A friend of mine challenged me to a free form combat. Being cockey and arrogant, i.e. 21, I accepted the challenge. When I picked up the sword I felt a familiarity with it. During the combat it was as if I had been using a sword all my life. I automatically knew what to do and how. I did not win the challenge but I inflicted a great deal of "damage" on my opponent. Everyone there swore I was lying when I said I had never used a s word before in my life.
Another thing that leads me to believe that I was a scot is that when I first tried to put on a traditional kilt I put it on correctly. I had never studied or been shown how. Please see if you can verify these images and feelings for me. I appreciate your efforts on my behalf. Please send my thanks on to your "friends" as well. Yes, you are reincarnated but not from Scotland, but somewhere close to that part of the country. We did not research your background because if we do that to you, then we have to do it for everyone else. From then on, questions after questions from the person would require more of our time.
