When I first heard of the murder of Tejano Music queen, Selena, I didn't really care. Now I am a devoted fan. I feel like she picked me, though, instead of me choosing to seek her. Before I learned of her life I was a wreck, and did not have a good life. Her example helped me move in life.
However, strange occurances pushed me towards her. First, I met a lady on a bus stop, in Hawaii, that claimed to have known the singer. She makes this conversation out of no where, and it strikes me strange that I would come across someone who would know a celebrity. At a hospital later in the evening, I came across an elderly woman, that for some reason began to speak to me. She was interned in the hospital, and it just so happened that we ended up in a small eating area by ourselves. For some reason we looked at each others eyes and we both felt like we knew each other. We spoke a few words and we both began to cry. She warned me that if I was charitable I would get great returns. I don't know why but Selena came to my mind. Like she was that old woman speaking to me.
I have had several dreams about Selena, and many times I have asked her bluntly if she is around me. Many times I have felt her prescense, but I don't know if it is her or just my imagitation. I began to learn more about her due to the strange occurances, and became an instant fan. I have a picture of her in my room and many times when I needed guidance I would ask the picture and I swear the answer to any question would pop into my head.
Once I asked outloud to make her presence known if she was with me, and nothing happened. I walked into the next room, turned the TV on, and there she is, in the only movie she ever appeared in, Don Juan De Marco, which she was in only for like 30 seconds. I thought "what are the chances". Asking for her help has helped me during th SAT, talking to my parents, and other things.
I wish to know if you can contact her and see if she has watched over me at any point. I would love to know why this strange things have been happening to me that deal with Selena.Sun, 11 Apr 99, Otherplane's reply to reader:
We wonder how many people have been touched by Selena? We know that you're not the only one. A lot of her fans were mesmerized by her awesome aura while she was still alive, quadrupled by the amount of energy after she died. There's no need to call her back. We already released her last year and it's up to her if she wants to venture back and visit family and friends. Keep the experience that you have with her because it's awesome. If she can touch you to redirect your life... can you imagine how many other people she also touched?

I wrote to you about a contact with Selena. Thank you very much for your responce. I just have one question, in your letter you said that many were impacted by Selena's awesome aura. Can you tell me more about this aura? Was she special (brighter, better, bigger aura than normal people?). Was there something spiritual to the fact that now so many mourn her passing? Can you shed any light on why so many of us seemed to be so touched by her?
I would really appreciate you clearing this for me, for it has intrigued me for some time now. Thank you very much.

An aura is a composite of a person's state of being that surrounds us all. Sometimes when you're so upset that some of your friends will be able to feel that even if you did not say anything. That's a part of the aura. On Selena, it was the same thing only more powerful and strong because she believed in it and the fans beleived in her. So the total aura composite of the fans to Selena and hers to the fans provided the total link. That's why even after death... she still wanted to stay.
