Everyone who have lost loved ones or friends will experience what you're experiencing now. Some more than others but nevertheless the pain will be the same. It does not matter where they/entities may be, they will have the stability of time without materialistic or human worries. There will be no more misfortunes for they have already left hell. They are more happier wherever they may be and if asked, they would tell you the same thing.
Go on and enjoy life for what it's worth. Just think of them as an advance party to a place where we will all be someday.
