I have always been intrested in horror movies and witchcraft. One day a friend and I decided to see if we could contact a ghost with the Ouija board. At the time it didn't seem to work so we just went to bed. About 3 minutes later, I sat up because I was cold and I couldn't sleep (it was January) when I looked out into the hall, there was a figure. As I watched it, it became more clear to see what it was. It was an old lady. She was wearing a white night gown. She just looked at me (I wasn't really frightened). She didn't look mean just upset and then she let out this horrible scream. It even got my friend up and her parents came running down the stairs to see what happened. My friend only saw a light fade away. We tried to tell her parents that it wasn't me, it was a ghost. They didn't believe us.
Do you think what I saw was really a ghost or could there be another explanation for what I saw? Was the ghost trying to tell me something (when she screamed)? Why did she come?

There are things that we cannot explain in the paranormal world yet. Maybe time will give us the knowledge (like we do in computers nowadays). When we bump heads with the paranormal, we tend to be awed because of the lack of experience into these matters. There are times that we create a link to the unknown by accident or via the Ouija board. Then when the unusual things happen, it tends to be a reality (in our own eyes), we ask the question... "Wow! Is that real?".
What you saw and heard was real in you and your friend's own way. It does not matter weather the rest of the world believes you or not, for what you experienced will never repeat itself again.
