I am staying at an old farm house that a minister friend of mine is letting me use. I stayed there 2X so far. The first time nothing happened. The second time, I left a plastic spoon and knife on the counter, on top of a paper towel. There was also a loaf of bread on the counter. I don't beleive mice were going for the spoon and knife. I woke up at about 3 or 4 am the other day because I heard the spoon and knife tapping. I figured it was mice.
Then the tapping came into my room (right off the kitchen) and started tapping on the heating element and then the baseboard. Then the noise went back to the kitchen and I heard the spoon hit the floor, then the knife started tapping using the same route. This went on til daybreak, a few min. before 6 am. I didn't see anything. I had my eyes shut and was asking Jesus to keep it away from me. As soon as daylight hit the noise stopped. I quickly gathered everything and rushed out. I went to the minister and told him but he quickly dismissed it as mice, though he admitted someone died in that house years ago.
I found the towel and spoon on the floor. I found the knife behind some logs and the wall (near the heating element). The window was locked. I shut the windows the day before, but I never locked them. If I were to have done so, I would have done it to both windows.
My question is, how do I get rid of this thing. Why did it happen now and not before? Why did it wait til 3 or 4 am.? Could a simple exorcism work?

Yes, a simple exorcism will work most of the time. No chants, no encantation or chicken feathers, just a simple one on one conversation with the entity (coming from the heart), assuring it that you will respect the premises and extend your gratitude. That's it! The time for it to happen was it's (the entity/s) call and not yours. Sometimes it really does not make any difference what time of the day it is, it will depend on the entity/s availability and your overall condition (physical and mental), so it can "lock on you and get your undivided attention". Give it a try and talk to the entity when you go back there and you will find that it's not that bad after all.
