Hello - my daughter just called me and relayed the following account. Could you please shed some "light" on this for us.
She and her friend were looking after her roommates two daughters, aged 4 and 9 months, while her roommate went out for an evening. They decided to go to bed around 2 am. My daughter put the baby's monitor on in her room (top floor), turned up the volume on the monitor on the main level and went to her bedroom in the basement. She closed the laundry room door off her room as it helps to keep the living area warm - left the upstairs door open so she could hear the monitor and proceeded to get ready for bed. They were laying there just chatting when they heard a funny, staticy kind of talking along with some noises (banging, etc.). The baby was restless like she was being disturbed and then after a short while - it stopped. All of a sudden, the room they were chatting in became VERY cold and the laundry room door opened. She saw a ball of light like a shooting star.
Her friend came home just after this, my daughter and her friend got dressed and went to the other friends house - because they were scared! This morning, the bird (budgie) was dead, and the people next door had called and asked what they were doing in the attic (not sure if this was today or the other evening). Anyway, when my daughter went downstairs to pack some clothes, she found on her bed where they had been laying, 2 pieces of straw-like sticks and a sewing needle!
This is the first time anything like this has happened there - the house is about 10 years old and is a semi-detached with 3 levels and an attic (that they have never been in). Thank you for any assistance (Oh, the babies mother had made the statement the day of the event that it was too bad her Grandmother had not lived to see her baby!). This was that same evening - any coincidence? Is it safe for children especially, to be there? (I have recommended prayers be said for the spirits).

Had to read your mail a few times to get things sorted out. Sometimes incidents and coincidences tend to clash when it occurs within a short time. Yes, there was an entity in the baby's room but it was just passing through and had nothing to do with the straw and needles and the dead bird, nor the statement of your daughter's friend (about her grandmother).
We do not know of any prayers that you could give an entity. Just tell the entity/s (with respect) that their presence can be detrimental to your health or whatever and more than likely that they will respect that and leave your family alone or leave the area altogether.
