Hi! I have some questions out of curiosity. About 6 months ago I lived in an old house in Texas. A lot of strange things happened.

My roommate (at the time), her daughter and I rented this house. You can tell it was an old house because all the houses around it we're in similar age and had the Victorian look. While looking through the house, in the bathroom that was mine, there was a large walk in closet. When walking in there, there was a fireplace that looked to be bricked in. My feeling of the house was that it was once much larger and for whatever reason, they reduced it. Needless to say, we agreed to rent the house.

The agreement before moving in was to paint the inside. One day during the weekend, my roommate and I started painting early in the morning. We had brought her radio to cut down on some of the boredom. We plugged it in the kitchen wall and it would play, then would quit. Assuming that it was an old house with old wiring we decided to move it in the living room with us. We had to turn it back on, not realizing that we had to do so, until after the fact. It would play then again turn off. At this point, my roommate and myself just kinda looked at each other, not wanting to open ourselves up to that thought. We then moved it into her room. It stayed for a while, all of a sudden the "I Love Lucy" theme song came on and the radio turned off. We looked at each other and thought at that point that we had more then enough. We were done for the day. We eventually moved in.

Her daughter was with her father, so we pretty much had all night to do what we needed to do. But it was miserably hot and with no AC, we decided to stay with a friend. That next night we were coming home and I was walking into my room when I heard footsteps on my ceiling. I froze. She asked me what was wrong. I went back to the living room scared out of my mind. I told her it sounded like someone was in the attic. It sounded like when you live in an apartment and you can hear the person above you walking. Needless to say, I refused to sleep there until someone checked out the attic.

The attic was checked and I did eventually begin to sleep there. But everytime I went past the bathroom closet (the walk in with the old fireplace), I would always get a "cold" feeling. I just didn't feel right about it. Let me try to shorten this up. For many reasons, I moved back home but my old roommate still lives there. One day she asked me if when I was there if I heard footsteps from the living room through the kitchen and back. I told her that I hadn't... just from the attic that one time. But I did tell her that I always felt protected. I'm a very paranoid person about being by myself, and my roommate was rarely there, so I was alone most all of the time. But I felt very protected.

Anyway, one day her and her ex-boyfriend were in bed and all of a sudden, the hanging that she had over the stove was thrown across the kitchen. But nothing was broken. She's also told me that one night she heard her daughter moving around so she started to listen to see if her daughter was OK. She heard her daughter say, "This is mommy and my house, not yours." Then went back to sleep. She said since then, she really haven't heard the footsteps as much.

Is there someone there? I don't think "he's there to harm us, but to protect. It would be nice to know that it wasn't just our/mine imagination. Also with my curiosity going wild on me, I guess I'm wondering what everyone else wants to know... was I reincarnated and do I have that special "gift" that God hands down to us?

I'm sorry that it was so long... sometimes I can get long winded. Thank you for reading my letter and I hope to hear from you soon.

It's only normal to have a welcome wagon lady for you and your friend. Yes, the place was inhabited by a female entity. She felt that you all can share the same house without a problem. The only difference is, if you don't see what you hear, you get scared (it's normal). For as long a you treat her with respect, she will treat you the same. She will even respect your wish (if you ask her nicely), not to scare you as much.

Sorry, but you are not reincarnated... you'll get over it. Next time you encounter another entity, talk to the entity and see what happens.
