I have a 15 year old daughter who has been hearing her named called to her when she is around the stairs in our house. It only happens when she is alone. It is a man, with a deep voice. He calls out her name and she runs. She is so afraid of it, she has stop talking about it hoping it will go away. I want to be able to help her with this. Any advice?

Is this a house that you purchased or one that you had built. If it is a house that you purchased, check around the house (look carefully in the area of the stairs) for anything unusual (i.e., hidden mini camera, microphone, wires that don't belong).
If you do not find anything, the next step is to confront this individual. When you are alone, tell this individual that he is frightening your daughter and you want him to stop. After you have done this, be sure to tell your daughter to let you know when/if she hears her name called (by this individual). Should it happen again, after you have done the above, please email us again and we will look into this unusual occurrence.
