I seem to have the gift of sight and knowing things about people that I don't know. It started back when I was about five. My brothers and I were crossing a brook. I started to fall in and should have because I lost my balence. Out of the blue, something picked me up and pushed me to the other side. Since then, I can just meet people and know things about them.
Yesterday a new girl from the agency came to work. My co-workers asked me to think about her to see if I could get anything on her. She asked if I had, I told her I couldn't tell her in front of everyone, so when we were alone I told her what I knew. She freaked out because I knew so much about her, having never met her before.
The other thing I can do is write down someone's name and think about them and know stuff about them. If this is pyschic powers, how do I use them and what for? Strange things happen... like doors shutting, carts move across the floor, so many more things I could fill 100 pages of freaky things that have happened.

We refer to people who have unusual abilities as being "gifted". Each gift when recognized and used properly can be a tool to help people. On the otherhand, some of the gifted folks tend to get sidetracked to something else. It seem to have a pretty good hold of your gifts. "What for" is a very infinite question. Maybe you should ask "For what", then your perspective in your gifts may change. Document events related to your gifts... see what else you can do under certain condition(s).
