Somewhat recently, my roommate and I tried contacting her deceased father with the Ouija Board. I had thought that when you start playing with it, you are supposed to make a figure eight with the planchette. I read something that said this meant evil spirits were controlling the board. Is this true? Were we somehow contacing evil or bad spirts from the start? Also, the questions we asked her dad produced accurate answers. The second time we tried contacing him, it started saying that we were reincarnated and began talking about our past lives. We looked these names up and they seem not to exsist. Were we really talking with her dad? Or was it an evil spirit playing around. Were we talking with her dad the first time?
Also, when we tried contacting more than one dead relative at a time. Does this work? Thanks for your time. I can't wait to hear from you about my experience.

When you attempt to communicate with entities, unless you are very serious about what you are doing, it would be almost impossible for you to know if you are talking to the right entity, i.e., your roommate's father, or whomever. Once you make contact with an entity, it is useful to ask the entity if it is okay to give it a name. This way, whenever you make contact again, ask if it is the same entity that you named. Usually, the entity (if not the same one) will tell you ... No, it is not the same one.
It is possible to contact more than one entity at a time. We have had as many as 30 or more in front of us, while we questioned them during our paranormal investigations.
We've never heard of making a figure eight with the planchette before starting your questions. Ever heard of "house rules"? People tend to make up their own way of doing things. Evil entities do not control the Ouija Board, you do... you started it, you can stop it.
We don't deny that there are (what you would consider) bad entities but they are far and few. This is not to say that you won't encounter one... you could.
Unless a question is so specific and is known only to the (supposedly) entity in question, an entity is afforded a 50/50 chance of getting a correct answer. An entity will not volunteer information on its own, although some entities can read minds, you must ask the question. Entities cannot give you information on the future, only the present and the past.
