I heard that it is really bad to use the Ouija Board at midnight - because you may contact the "evil" spirits. I was just curious if this could be the truth or is it fiction? I have heard stories from some of my friends about their family members using it around midnight and curtians caught on fire?
Also, I was wondering if there is any way that the "spirits" could harm you physically if you make them angry or if they just spell out some kind of threat? One time we were talking to a "spirit" and my friend was really mad at her boyfriend and we asked if it would send him a message saying that she was mad at him so he would know what was going on... and it responded that it would yell at him. We asked how and it said, "With a gun".
Thank you for your time... these questions have been bothering me and my friend for a while now!

We have never heard of anyone using a Ouija Board around midnight having bad things happen to them... this is the first. Of what we do know, people use the board at all hours of the day or night (aside of making contact with an entity), nothing physical happened.
Most entities do not cause physical harm. You cannot make an entity angry. In order for an entity to do what they want to do, they must first learn how to do it, i.e., cause physical harm, move objects, make noises, make themselves visible to you, etc. As we (the living must learn how to walk, talk, read and so on), so must the entities do the same.
There are entities who have learned to cause physical harm to people - this is because they/entities wanted to and learned how to. However, this does not necessarily make them evil/bad entities. Most of the entities that we have encountered who did cause physical harm, did not realize the true physical, as well as emotional, pain that they were causing.
Using the Ouija Board to instruct an entity to direct some bad thing against a living human being is in itself, an evil act to do... no matter how much you may dislike that person. Having someone else (living or not) do evil/bad things to another, because you yourself is afraid to... only confirms that you are not a strong person and that you are generally afraid to face problems that confront you. Sometimes we all get angry and wish bad things to happen to someone and that is very normal, but it does not make it right or justifiable. If you truly don't mean to bring harm upon someone else, then don't even think about it... because if you do and it happens and later you say, "I didn't mean to harm that person", guess what... it is too late because you already did it... the damage has been done.
The Ouija Board can be a helpful device to find information that you want to know about. First, you have to establish a relationship/friendship with the entity. You must let the entity know that the questions you ask are serious and that you are not "playing". Your entity could have been "playing" with you by saying that it would use a gun.
We, ourselves, do not use the Ouija Board... but we do use a device/L Rod, to communicate with our entity "friend/s". They assist us in 90 percent or more of what we do on our web site.
Do not be afraid to use the Ouija Board, but do be very careful of what you do ask. There is so much out there, when it comes to the paranormal, that we don't know about and what better way to find out and learn from. The knowledge that is gained stands to be benefitted by all.
