I am a 19 year old college student and for years, I have been interested in reincarnation and past lives. I have tried reading books about the subject to find out about my own past lives, but with no luck. It's weird becuase I have always had the strangest feeling that I have lived before, but I have no idea when or where.
I have had the fear of the dark and of falling asleep. I saw on TV one time about this kid who had a fear of fireworks and in a past life, he found out that he was killed in a war. All my life I have had a fear of fireworks, but have I died in a war? I have had an interest in American history time periods of the 1960's and 1970's. I have a feeling that in my last past life, I might have been married, but I'm not sure. I may have lived in the northern US.
Also, there is someone that I know in this life who I feel that I have known in a past life. I barely know her, but somehow I feel that we knew each other in a past life. Thank you, Otherplane, for listening to this. Although it may have been long, I'm not crazy, I've just had these feelings for a long time.

Do I have a gift? I had this dream once where I talked with a girl (who I have never known) who died of cancer several year ago. Was this a real spirit trying to communicate with me? Does this have anything to do with being gifted?

Yes, you did communicate with an entity but that was because the entity wanted to talk to you. That does not mean that you are gifted.

Thank you again for answering my question. After I woke up, I couldn't remember what she had said (in my dream). I remember telling her that I was worried about something, but I can't remember what it was or what she said. What could she have wanted to talk to me about?
