I was living with a friend many years ago and she visited a psychic. The psychic told her there was an old soul in her home. We saw an older woman once and things disappeared in our room. It was usually flamboyant clothing or loud make-up. It was during the "disco" era. I only saw her once but my friend saw her on numerous occasions. We never really felt comfortable alone in the room. I would wait downstairs until my friend came home. Her mom thought it was amusing but understood when I told her the feeling of being watched while I was there alone. Was this old soul the entity or one of us?
I am sorry about this second e-mail but I was talking to my sister about your site. She told me something interesting about my 5 year old nephew. While watching the movie "Titanic" he began talking about memories. "I remember those dishes falling mom." He was so serious that she changed the subject. He is only five years old. She is going to be asking him some questions about other things tomorrow, but during the movie he was telling her about things BEFORE they happened. The lifeboats and how they left them on the ship...etc. She said it was "creepy and made me break out in goose bumps." When it came to the part when the people were in the water...he looked at her with a very sad expression and told her "the water was sooo cold mom" and then told her she was there but he couldn't find her. I believe that is what she told me he said.
Thank you so much for your indulgence. I would very much appreciate hearing from you on this. We are both very curious about her son and where these "ideas, memories, or whatever" originated. He had never seen the movie prior to that time. Thank you.

You normally refer the old soul for the reincarnated because they passed on and came back. The apparition that you and your friend saw was a female entity. She just wanted you to see her attire...that's all.
Your nephew is telling your sister the truth. He was adult when he died at age 37, during the sinking of the Titanic. He is reincarnated. There will be more flashbacks later on in his life and your sister's responsibilities to her son is not to hinder that. Support him with understanding.

Is it normal for a child his age to have memories like this? I had never heard of it before, at least not in a child that young. She will be thrilled that he isn't nuts at least.

So you are saying the "old soul" was actually one of us in the house? Who was it? I have time period obsessions. Some of them from long ago. Was I the "old soul" in the house? I would like to know because the interest I have in certain time periods is odd. When I have conversations about the eras I seem to know things that I have never read about.
