Just this week a good friend of mine was killed in a tragic accident. He was only 22 years old and was hit by a semi going full speed. I was talking to his father at the funeral home and he showed me this show that was taken of his son just about a month before his death and in the picture, which was taken indoors, was what looked like a white dove flying next to his head. I said maybe it was just a photo error. But then he told me of another family that lost one as well and they showed him a picture of that person that was taken just before death and there was that same image of a white dove. It has caught my interest. Have you ever heard of anything like this before?

Sam (of Otherplane) has heard of and has seen what you are talking about, but he did not inquire into the meaning of it, because it was before he got involved with paranormal activities. He called it premonition or trying to warn someone of something dreadful about to happen.
With the assistance of "our friend," a white dove, a halo or a light, appearing in a picture, has to do with "death." When taken in a group picture and a halo of some sort appears over one of the person's head, someone in that picture will die, and it is not the one with the halo. If it is a light that appears above a person's head, that person will die if not INFORMED about the light. By telling the person and the person believe's it to be true, then death will pass the person by and extend the person's life a while longer. In the case of the above, the appearance of the white dove revealed itself, instead of a halo or light.
