Judgement Day was the perception of man, from long ago, that sounded so disturbing to people who believed it and people still do to this day. That was merely a ploy to balance the good and the evil and what will happen to someone if they did not believe in the church (Pope), and pay their taxes.
The UFOs are a different spectrum altogether. It's a reality for those who claim to have had an encounter with them and fiction for others (no encounter). Take your pick...hope that you pick the right one.
