For about six years now, I have found that I have a deep love and almost devotion to Alexander The Great. Though I stop myself and say that I must be crazy for having feelings like this for a man who is dead for 3,000 years, I just can't quit the devotion. I've had many dreams where I was either placed in a Greek army with him, or being with him or under the Roman Empire. Things discussed in both dreams are vivid and I usually awake disoriented and not knowing where I am after these dreams. They don't come often. I love ancient Greece and Rome, but I don't think that this could affect, could it? Occasionally, I will pick up a book on Alexander especially, and I find certain facts to be wrong, but I don't know why. I feel as if I know him, been there with him, and love him. I love having those dreams rare as they are, but could all this just mean that I am a history fanatic? I have studied and admired Augustus, Caligula and others, but I don't feel the same about anyone else but Alexander. I am overall really confused. One of my friends however, who also studied Alexander, exclaimed one day that I was exactly like him. And to be honest I absolutely believed her. I tend to love ancient wars and associate so much with ancient battles, as if I knew how to fight in one. I find all of these feelings extremely weird, and sometimes I think that I need Psychiatric help. Though it's not bugging my life, it occasionally catches me with the thought "what the hell was that?" and make me think of it for days. Tonight I have just watched a biography on Alexander The Great on TV, and it brought back all of these things and odd memories. Please help me out on this. I have not been able to get a straight answer or opinion on this. It's not necessarily something most people would think as "normal".

Many are also fascinated by history or ancient times but they know for a fact that they were not nor were they a part of that time. Meaning, that they lived a previous life in that era. Like them, you are in the same boat.
