I have had a couple experiences that have led me to believe that I may be gifted. However, I would like to know your opinion. When I was very young (maybe 5), I had an OBE. I floated above my body and found myself in the hallway of my home. I could see my mother sitting on the couch from where I stood. I tried to call to her but nothing came out of my mouth. Then something pulled at my back as if I were attached to a cord. I fell to my knees, clawing at the carpet in an effort to reach my mother. Once again, no noise came out of my mouth. She would not look at me either. I was finally pulled back into my body.
Only a few years ago I had a dream that my grandfather died (he had died years earlier in real life) and I was roaming his huge house. I was told that I could have it, according to his will, if I would say so within a certain amount of time. I roamed the house and realized that I wanted it. I made a mad dash to find the entrance to tell the executor of the will of my acceptance. I made it back and soon after I awoke. After I woke up, I went to the mailbox and found a letter addressed to my Dad. The letter said that part of his father's estate was yet unsettled and he needed to send in a form to find out what it was. It turned out to be a forgotten account that contained a few dollars. My Dad received the check soon after.
I have also had lucid dreams in which I was transported to another planet. This dream was as real as life. I have also had what some call "night terrors" where I am attacked by unseen evil forces. These night terrors are very real lucid dreams where the presence of evil is incredible.
Can you tell me if I have a gift or a curse or anything like that associated with me.

Being a gifted person is not a very easy task to overcome. More often than not, you will venture into something parallel to your gift and it will sidetrack you, in enhancing what you really have. You did OBE long time ago and partially saw visions of the future. But to be able to dissect the real vision and a normal dream will not be there for you right now. It will take a lot of time to enhance this to a point of identifying a true vision and just a dream. Your OBE gift will take more practice and conditioning before it will happen again.
We do have Otherplane's Gifted Society (OGS) members who can guide you on your gifts. If you're interested in venturing into our world, then you're more than welcome to be a part of it.
