For several years now, I have had something strange happen to me in my home. Sometimes when I am sleeping, something will make me wake up quickly. I can't describe it other than feeling like someone is in my room watching me or standing over me. As soon as I open my eyes, I can see a dark figure walk across the room and disappear into the shadows. I have always chalked it up to my imagination, but sometimes it seems so real that it scares the crap out of me and I have grabbed my gun before. However, my dogs, who sleep with me, have never barked or anything else. Could this be my subsonscious creating this apparition when I wake up? Once, I felt the pressure of something sit down on the end of my bed during the middle of the night. I sat up thinking it was the cat jumping up on my bed but she was not in the room and the doors were shut so she could not have been in there. It was the weirdest sensation.
Everybody thinks I am crazy when I tell them about it. My house was built in the 1940's and I am wondering if someone died there and is frequenting the house occasionally. Any suggestions?

Nope, you're not imagining those things. That entity is a male. You can call it ghost or spirit or whatever, but it didn't mean any harm to you. He just wanted you to know that he's there and thats all. If you recognize that, then everything will be okay. Do talk to him every now and then and even the hours that he's watching you. Just mention kindly that you are aware of his presence and just let you go to sleep. If you feel his presence during the day, just give him a kind greeting.
Entities don't ask for much. You will be suprised of the change that will happen. They do listen most of the time.
