Several years ago, I moved into a house where my best friend, her 2 young daughters, and her sister and daughter lived. There was apparently some sort of entity there in the house, or so we thought, because of strange things that happened there. Some of the things that occured were; the childrens' bedroom was always several degrees colder than the rest of the house; whenever anyone would try to sleep in a certain bedroom, they would wake up approximately every 2 hours, and would be unable to help getting up and "checking out" the rest of the house. The most dramatic occurence was when the entire house began "booming" repeatedly for about 10 minutes one night. It sounded to me as though something was hitting the house with huge force, enough to make pictures shake on the the wall, and knicknacks, dishes, etc., would rattle immeiately after each boom.

The noise was so loud it was deafening. I could not hear the tv, nor traffic outside, nor my friend's niece who was approximately 5 years old. She was hysterically crying, and walked across the upstairs floor, and down a flight of stairs, sobbing and crying. I never heard her, but as soon as I saw the little girl, the booming stopped. The little girl then said, "Don't let it hurt Mommy." This is when I became actually frightened. Her mother then came downstairs, picked up her daughter, and took her back to bed.

The next day, I talked to the girl's mother about the incident, and she never heard it at all. She said she slept "like the dead" and only woke up when she heard her daughter crying. I found out years later that the girls' mother had an experience with the booming as well, but during the day when she was alone. I thought the noise came from upstairs, but for her the noise occured in the doorway to the upstairs.

Anything you can tell me would be great, because this has bothered me for years. Also, could you tell me what the thing at the top of the stairs was one night? I was running away from the upstairs at the time, and didn't look, but I believe that whatever was there wanted me to look at it, though I did not? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. All of us who lived there would like to know!

Yes, you were right about that house. It is haunted by at least four entities. They did everything that you claim...just for fun. To include the time that you wanted to turn around and look at something but you didn't. Maybe you should've turned around and looked.

Thanks for replying...I have to say I feel better. But, I would not have turned around to look...for anything! By the way, the landlord of the house did tell one of my roommates that other tenants there had said there was something "wrong" with the house. Maybe the entities had fun, but we sure didn't!

Thanks for your homepage, and I will spread the word.
