As a child I used to spend my summer's with my paternal grandparents. It was during one of these visits that I began "seeing" someone in my bedroom at night. This person was female, and although never did anything threatening, it frightened me. She was tall, but could sit atop the armoire that was in the room. She would just sit there, or in the chair at the foot of my bed, and look at me. I was so frightened, that by the end of the summer, I had to sleep in another bedroom.
About 15 years later, I brought a young man to y grandparent's home to "meet the family". This man slept in that same bedroom. the first night, I was awakened by his screaming. I went into the room, and he just said he had a bad dream. That next morning, during breakfast, I asked him what the dream was. He said that he had dreamt that someone was in his room. Having "forgot" about my childhood experience in that room, I never mentioned anything to him about it. I immediately asked "What did she look like?". He was amazed that I knew it was a woman and described her exactly as I remembered her except for one thing. He felt threatened by her. The following two nights, he was awakened again, each time she was closer to the bed than the last night, standing over him and trying to choke him. Needless to say, he slept on the couch for the remainder of the visit.
The following year, my father was transfered back to the area where my grandparents lived and my parents moved into the same house. That same year, the family home of my father, located in another part of the state, was sold and some of the contents of that home were moved to my parents home. During a visit, my mother asked if I, and later my boyfriend, would come upstairs with her to the storage attic. In the attic was a large chest brought down from the family home. In the chest was a black dress (like the one I had see the woman wearing) and a picture of this woman. It was my great grandmother, after whom I was named. My boyfriend also identified that the woman in the picture was the same woman he saw. It was a very unnerving moment.
To this day, my parents, especially my father, do not believe that the woman I saw as a child, was my great grandmother. Is there anyway you can prove that it was? If it was her, why was she trying to hurt my boyfriend of the time? If it was not her, who was it? Was she trying to communicate with me? What was she trying to tell me? Is she my guardian angel? I look forward to your response.

It was your great grandmother alright. She was just over protecting you. After all these years, she was still earthbound and she's not your guardian angel. If you want to find out what she wanted to tell you, we can bring her back to see you so you can ask her the same questions that you asked us. Or, we can let her see you in your dreams and do the same thing, take your pick. By the way, she did not mean to harm your boyfriend, only to scare him.

I would like to speak with her. What is the most effective way to communicate with her? I have not seen her since I was a child. Do I have to wait for her or can I contact her directly? A friend has a Ouija Board, can those work? How do I do it? If you could send her to me, I would love to speak with her. I was named after her.

Today we again investigated further into your request about communicating with your great grandmother. Your great grandmother chooses to remain earthbound because she wishes to watch over and protect you. She is releaseable (to heaven) and will willingly go if released by Otherplane. however, it is our feeling that she does not want to be released and we will not release her should you also decide that she not be released.
We brought your great grandmother to us and presented her with three choices in which she could present herself to you.
1 - Show herself (same as when you first saw her when you were a child).
2 - Appear in your dream and speak with you.
3 - Communicate with you via a Ouija Board.
Your great grandmother chose number 2. Let us know when you have this dream and the outcome.
