Back when I was a little girl about 7 or 8,we lived on an army base in Canada. I was playing outside when all of a sudden a cloud floated by over my head. On this cloud sat a group of men drinking from large steins (I was guessing they were drinking beer). They were sitting around a large rectangular wood table and they were sitting on benches. One of the apparitions looked directly at me and winked, then they dissipated. I remember telling my mother this and she told me I must have been dreaming or I was nuts (my mother often told me that).
To jump to the present on this matter, my mother-in-law came in the possession of a painting, that was made into a card table and I could not believe my eyes. The painting was the same men that I saw when I was a young girl I told her the story, only telling her it was a dream and she gave me the painting. It now has a place of honor in my hall, only thing they were sitting in chairs and at a round table not a bench but it was the same man who got my attention (sitting there smoking a pipe). About knocked my socks off.
Another incident that happened and I still remember was sitting in a babycarriage watching my brothers and sisters eating dinner (I am the oldest child of 6). I believe there was something wrong with my legs. My mother says it never happened although I do know for sure that I pulled down a dresser on top of me and I believe that I was hurt, although my mother said, "no". I was about 6 or 7, at the time, when this happened. When we moved to the city, we had a ghost that lived with us and he would do different things so that we knew he was there (turn off the stove switch and make the clothes dryer come on). Mom had just finished making supper and shut the stove off when the dryer came on. You had to go to the basement to do this. Anyhow, this ghost apparently was my grandfather (as my mom did not go to his funeral), and after she finally went to his grave, the ghost went away.
I have always awoke to see strange things by my bed. The one thing I mostly saw was a dark shape. This went on through most of my growing up years and into my first marriage. But I am getting ahead of myself. One time and only one time while I was in school, I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden, I was looking down at myself sitting there. Scared the heck out of me. I then was back in my desk. I know this to be an out-of-body experience, but only one and I have never had another.
OK, back to the shapes. When my first husband and I moved into a brick home, in a trailer court, where we had been living prior to selling our Mobile home, we went to bed one night I was awakened by the most horrible smell I could imagine. When I opened my eyes, there was the ugliest creature starring right at me and not a foot away from me. It had beady red eyes and rotten jagged teeth. I'll never forget the look of him as long as I live. I screamed and my husband woke up and said, "what the hell". The blankets were floating off of the bed and we could see the alarm clock from under the covers. As soon as my husband sat up, everything returned to normal. Needless to say, we slept with the bathroom light on and I can greatfully thank God that my children were not in the room.
I have since divorced and remarried. I now am happily married although I still am bothered by waking up at night and seeing things. The black shapes have disappeared, after I yelled at them, "By the power vested in me, by God, I command you to get the hell out of here and leave me alone". As dumb as it sounds, it worked and I have never seen them again. However, I still wake up or have dreams about being a ghost or a supernatural human being. I can't explain what I'm seeing as I cannot describe them, although, the other night I woke up to see a large card (Queen or Jack, I think), floating by my bed. I know I was awake because I remember closing my eyes and opening them again and it was gone.
Is someone trying to reach me? Do I have an over active imagination? I know there is phsycic ability in my family. My aunt travels all the time with my cousins, using OBE (out of body). And another thing, my present husband and I stopped beside a roadside graveyard and got out to take a look, as it was an old one. All of a sudden, I told my husband to get back in the car. I felt it in my bones that these people were not happy and they didn't want us there. We left the graveyard.
What do you make of this? I wish I knew what was going on. At night I wake up out of a hard sleep and feel like I'm part of what ever it is around me. Can you shed any light on this or do I need a phsychiatrist? I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Oh! yes, I can usually tell if someone doesn't like me right away and I can feel right away if there is a presence in a house. Again, thank you for your time.

It seems that you had a very busy life, mostly on the paranormal side. And having multiple gifts is very annoying at times, because you really don't know what's real or not. A small percentage of what you saw was created from within you. You have a vision that flickers every now and then, as well as, attracting entities. Your intuition of things, mostly from people, is probably a by-product of the two gifts. Try not to put them together as one. Exercise your judgement on these things and you'll be better off. The gifted people of the Otherplane's Gifted Society can help with providing guidance to keep you abreast on how they do things and maybe they also could receive some pointers from you.
