When I was younger and living with my parents, I saw this man dressed in black, three times in my bedroom. I felt that it was a male but I wasn't sure. The man in black was peeking through the door crack trying to listen to my parents, talking in the kitchen. I thought it might of been my sister whom shared the room with me. I called out her name and the man in black turned slowly toward me but said nothing. I called out the names of my two other sister's, and the man in black still said nothing, I booked out the door. I ran screaming to my dad who quickly moved to the door but it was locked, so he went to the other door and turned on the light - no one was there. He said I must of been dreaming.

I saw the man in black again standing by the door and this time I wanted to prove to my dad that I was not dreaming. I pinched myself, ran to the light switch and turned it on - but the man in black was gone.

The third and last time I saw the man in black, a friend was spending the night with me. While we were asleep in bed, I woke up to find him hovering over me. This time I confronted him (cause my dad didn't believe me and I was mad about that) and I said to him, "Who are you and what do you want?" I turned to my friend who woke up and said, "Did you see him?" When I turned back around, he was gone.

Finally, my mom told me a little about what was going on. She's seen him before and there is one entity that always follows her home from school. I assumed that the one I encountered must have been "the angel of death," because three people in my family had died within the time I saw this man in black, which my mom pointed out to me. She was hoping it would not get passed on to any of her daughters, but it did with me. When I became a mother, I prayed to the Lord, not to let me see the man in black again. Since I was home alone most of the time with the baby and no longer had my parents around to protect me, I was afraid to see the man in black. I have not seen the man in black for quite some time. What do you think?

The man (entity) in black was not the angel of death. He is an old friend of your mother that died some time ago. He does not mean to scare or cause any harm to you or your family.

My parents do not have a computer, but I told my mother and she said, "There are two man in black that I see." The man in black that I had seen three times was indeed her long ago friend - like you said. This friend of hers always told her that he would always be with her to protect her. I thought she had told me that he was the angel of death - I was wrong there.

She said that she has seen the angel of death - that is the other man in black. He wears a black dunkard hat with a wide brim.
