I just finished reading your website - Otherplane. I read almost every page. WOW! I did not realize how MUCH paranormal I've had in my life. As I read different stories, memories would come to mind. I know I have a gift. I think more than one, but one is stronger than another. Do you know what they are? I can sometimes "feel" things. I don't know how to explain it well. I can pick up easily on a persons energy. I am a very sensitive person. If someone is angry or being negative, I can just feel it draining me.

I sometimes "know" who is calling, if a letter will be in the mailbox, etc. I KNOW I have a very special connection with babies for some reason. I often can "feel" when someone is expecting if they are carrying a boy or a girl, although this seems to have diminished quite a bit lately (probably because of the birth of my own baby and so much going on). I have had this happen either in person, on the phone, or through letters. If I am particularly close to the person, I can tell what they are calling or writing to tell me (they are pregnant). When I was pregnant, I always KNEW what I was having and with my last pregnancy, I could "feel" my little boy hanging around me in the early months. I could even feel his personality, which matches his personality now. I have a special fondness for babies.

I've had recurring dreams of an old boyfriend only to find out he'd been in a painful car accident. Sometimes, a lot lately, I dream dreams that I had a long time ago. That is weird to me. Also, I can wake up in a dream, go back to sleep, and finish it.

I have had a very special spiritual experience that I do not know if it was a NDE or an OBE, or what, but it was WONDERFUL. I was sleeping, dreaming. In my dream I sat down in a chair and then my dream kind of just went away (I was still sleeping though, I think) and slowly a very bright light began to open in the blackness, like a hole in the clouds opening bigger and bigger. It was misty. I could see myself coming up to a place. It is so hard to describe this! There was a tall, dense border of sunflowers, very large and beautiful, and I KNEW I was absolutely NOT to go past them. I saw beings of light looking at me, I felt them communicate to me, not with words, but I could feel the love they were pouring out to me in every cell in my body. I saw myself fall to my knees and just sob like I have never before because of the overwhelming love, I sobbed out of relief, pure joy... I felt they were expecting me. Then the hole started to slowly close the same way it opened and I woke up feeling in awe. I almost cry thinking of it now, 2 years later.

My daughter also has gifts. Hers are different from mine and they scare her. She is only 12. I first became aware of this when she came home from a friends at 5 yrs old and told me how she and her friend laid on the hot sidewalk on their towels after swimming and when they got up, she pulled up her towel and there was a bright pink spot the shape of her towel on the sidewalk. She asked her friend if she could see it and her friend said no. She then told me she saw colors around people a lot of the time, too. She still does. I guess this is auras. She also sees colors on the walls, all over, in the car, just everywhere, changing colors, moving. She will not sleep downstairs in her room because she sees images coming at her. Like green misty silhouettes of animals, people with their mouths open and their arms outstretched. She says some (not those things) tried to talk to her when she was outside a few years ago, but she was scared and ran in the house. When she was 5 she was taking a nap and told me she woke up and a man was standing by the bed watching her. He was wearing a white robe and she thinks a gold cord tied about his waist.

Anyway, I know this is long, but I am very interested in learning what my gifts are, how I can strengthen them, etc. because I love people and I want to help them. I wanted to tell you everything so that hopefully you can help me to help others. I have had a lot of pain in my life, which has brought me to where I am. I feel I am a very good, kind, compassionate person and am meant to be some kind of healer, whether physical, spiritual, etc. Personally, I think they all run together, for if we are not well in one area, it will affect the others. What can I do to help people? What can my daughter do to learn more about her gifts? She is confused as to what they are for, but I told her not to be afraid or they would go away. I told her when the time was right, she would know what they were for. I believe there are many who have these abilities, but who deny them. I also believe there are those who use these abilities negatively and in ways that do not help people, but harm them in different ways. Please help if you can. Thank you so much for your time.

Yes, you are very gifted... in fact around 4, right now. They're all leaning toward people. The sensitivity that you felt around people, your intuition is very keen, fondness for the children and your dreams. The intuition and the dream should work in conjunction because it normally relates after the fact event or the future event. Closely watch for that.

Your daughter is also gifted. She does see the auras of almost everything around her. Give her your approval and support. Show her some photos and see if she can see any colors. Then later on, put her on a reality test... let her be aware of the color when she encounter's angry, sad and sick people and define the color schemes. After a while she will be in tune to all this and will enjoy her gift.

Our goal is to help people and to open the eyes of gifted people who have been in the closet for so long. Our gifted society welcomes the both of you to be a part of this unique organization.
