For the last 7 years or so I have had dreams that I "move" things with my eyes and my mind. Ok, let me fill in the cracks. Only recently have I "done" it in front of people...in my dreams that is. I only move small things. I think once I made an orange roll across a table. I levitated a pencil. It is just so weird, that in my dream, I have great stress and tension in my hands. It's almost what you would expect a hoaky magician to do with his hands... fingers extended and stretched to the fullest (void of any lightning bolts. I DO remember after each time I had moved something, I was VERY tired to the point that I would fall asleep in my dream and that would be the end of it.

I have told my husband about these dreams, and he told me, "TRY IT". Ahhahahaha...oh sure... well don't think I haven't thought about it... but don't know if my mind could handle it, if I actually moved something. Any suggestions as to why I would keep having a dream of the same "subject", but different objects? And now after all these years would I do it in front of people?

The initial impact of the first dream is buried deep within your innermost memory and keeps replaying itself each time that you have the opportunity to dream. This became a habit of your unconscious that it's slightly out of control and this can cause exhaustion within your dream. On the otherhand, here's an experiment that you should try. With a small object placed in a specified location, tell your husband what you have in mind. When you go to bed, focus on dreaming of moving that object from one location to another. In the morning, see if the object has moved. If it doesn't work the first time, do it again. Do it as long as you feel you should. And should you be successful, then lady you just did levitation and the ability to move objects. However, should you be unsuccessful, do not despair. Sometimes it takes years for someone to master a gift.
