I had a dream when I was a child of 7 or 8. I had this same dream for a week or so. It really annoyed me. I wanted to have dreams of unicorns or care bears and instead I had this dream over and over. In the dream, I am in a bright white place. I have on a white gown that is modest. I have really long pretty hair. I see other people wearing white gowns too. The people, both men, women and I, all seem to be about the same age. That age is of a young adult in the 20's. I thought that it was odd as a child to have a dream of me in my 20's, a young adult. I am standing in line in this dream. I can see alot of people and I feel as if I am waiting. But the thing is, I do not feel as if it is taking a long time. It is as if time does not effect me in that place, or I am not aware of it, or time does not exist there. I am at the front of the line. There is a man who seems older and wiser but he does not look older, I just seem to feel it. He is seated at a beautiful "golden like" desk and the top of his head is bright and shiny. He seems to know me and I feel as if I know him too. I can not remember what I said. It was as If I was watching a movie on mute or something. I than go with the man over to a big round globe. He talks to me and explains something to me as I am looking into the globe. I do not remember what I saw. I only remember that it had something to do with life. After that, I go over to a chair, sit down and read a book, and it seems I am waiting for something.
My mother went to a psychic or astrologer when I was about 12 or so and the psychic/astrologer said that this was my first life. That makes sense with the dream I had. Is my dream real or is it just a silly dream? Do I have past lives? And is there such thing as a soul mate or true love?

If you meant "soul mate and true love" as one, they are not the same. True love will come to you in time. Soul mate is just a word concocted by a writer that somehow made its way into the paranormal arena. Reincarnated... you are not. The dream that you dreamt as a kid was just a dream, nothing more and nothing less.

I would like to ask another question. When I was baptised, in my church we do it by full immersion, like Jesus was by John the Babtist. I was eight years old and when I was dunked under the water I saw a light and the form of a dove. Was that real? I know that the dove means peace and The Holy Ghost. Did I see the Holy Ghost or just a dove or was it not real at all?
I would also like to know if I have any gifts. Or Will I see what gifts your "friends" say I have, when I become a member of the Otherplane's Gifted Society? I believe in Edgar Cayce too and I wish there was someone today that has the same ability he had of going into a trance and using the river of knowledge. Is there someone like that on the earth today? If so, I would like to know. Please answer these questions, if you can.

What you saw during your baptism is what you saw, maybe because of the stress of being baptised. But as far as being gifted, you are not but do not despair for some gifts normally come in the form of helping others without reservation.
