The probability of a dream to really happen is closer to imagination than reality. However, a portion of that dream could run parallel to what really happened and the dreamer can say that he/she really dreamt it. In your case, there will be times that your dream is closer to reality but it is not happening all the time. We have no suggestion, at this time, to enhance your ability to "make it happen when you want". Only time will actually tell when you start getting a higher average with your dreams.
Some people are afraid if they happen to stumble into the paranormal world and yet alot like you want to experience the paranormal, that some people abhor. There's no preset way of enducing a conversation with entities or a particular entity. They will show themselves when you least expect it and that will be your opportunity to communicate with them. If the entity wants you to be aware of their presence, you will know it.
