I have a friend who has a very strange gift. When in or in close proximity to a graveyard he is "given" the names of those who are buried there and how they died. He say's it is always a woman's voice that talks to him. While walking past a grave with his nephew, he was given a person's name, and was told the child was only 7 years old, and had been beaten to death by his father. Once while in a cemetary with a girlfriend, he recited over 150 names, while the girl wandered around locating these names. He cannot "see" death as it comes to people, only "who" and "how" after they have already passed. He say's the rush of power that he feels when being confronted is almost painful, and he can only control it by completely occupying his mind.
Now that you know the background, here is what I was hoping you could help me with: Is there a name for this particular ability? If so, do you know where I could learn more about it?

Your friend is gifted alright and this lady entity is actually communicating with him but one thing that he overlooked...is that he can actually ask her questions not related to the names of the dead people. It's her way of saying...talk to me. Your friend has the ability to "communicate with entity(s)".
As for you...the Otherplane's Gifted Society (OGS) has regularly scheduled chat rooms available for you to voice your questions, to the members in the room. On a daily basis, there are at least two of the members present who has the gift of "communicating with entities".
