I would call it auras, not in singular, as there are seven layers. I believe there are auras and that influence our life to such a great degree that is not imaginable to the normal eye, but definately through the third eye. I was able to see auras when I was very little and then I lost the sight. And now after some more than 10 years I have started again to feel the energy of the third eye. I know what is my purpose of life is to help mankind.
I am currently in a relationship which I believe can keep me happy so that I can pursue my sight and reach the beginning of my purpose in this life. It is 11:55 pm in Malindi, Kenya and I feel I have to reach out and tell whoever wants to listen that we have to open up, express ourselves and love thyselves and therefore we are able to love anyone or anything infront of us or even not infront of us.

Loosing a person's ability to see is very hard specially if you experienced the sense of seeing before. However, if the person is in tune with himself/herself, other senses will come forth to minimize the burden. Even if the person have all the senses, at times the innerself will project another one based on beliefs and upbringings. In your part of the world the third eye was commonly referred as such. In our world we called that person gifted....just like you.
Varieties of extra senses will become so acute at times that the holder of this gift will be overwhelmed. One of the Otherplane's responsibilities is to assist gifted people to be aware of what they have and to guide them in pursuing this gift. However, the upbringings of Americans as far as the paranormal are concerned, they are very relaxed and they are more concerned with materialisic matters rather than enhancing their gifts.
Our perception of "Aura" will not be the same with any other ethnic beliefs. The aura is a composite emanation of any living matter. It's comprised of the overall functions of that body and it's telling the seer what the body is projecting, wether it's spiritual, physical or the condition of that body is, at a given time. Auras can be represented in many different views, if it's under spiritual beliefs then it will stay like that for a very long time. No other explanation can overturn such beliefs. We are trying to disect all the facets of the Aura in different attributes and not just one aspect. Auras provided us with insights on the healing perspectives and with the assistance of our "friends", we are exploring and trying to put together a unique way of helping people detect and or heal some of the maladies that mankind are in constant battle with.
