This related account comes to us from Heather and friends, in South Carolina. Heather and friends asked us to check on a friend of theirs, named "Trip." Trip died in a car accident, in 1996 at age 25. A friend was also in the car but received only minor injuries.
Susan, who is one of Trip's friends, saw man-shaped shadows in her house, lost things only to find them in a different location, and smelled the scent of a recently "blown out candle." Soon, Susan's husband (Wayne) was experiencing the same thing.
A year after Trip's death, Trip's friends visited a local pool hall they often went to. They could smell the scent of a recently "blown out candle," but there were no candles to be seen anywhere in the pool hall.
We, of Otherplane, brought Trip to us to ask him questions. He was not in heaven. Trip suddenly had his life taken from him and needed to be assured that he would not be forgotten, by his family and his friends. Trip was responsible for the unusual occurrences to his friends. It was not meant to be harmful but only to let them know, of his presence.
Three times during the questioning, Trip suddenly left us. Never has an entity or a group of entities suddenly decided to leave and this was a new experience for us (Otherplane). We had to bring him back each time. Trip was not comfortable with us because he could see two lights but only one person talking to him. Trip could feel the other person's presence but could not see that person , and it made him uncomfortable. We assured him that we meant him no harm, only to ask questions that Heather requested, and then him, if that was his decision.
Now for the rest of the story... For Heather and her friends and family. Trip was aware that it was Heather who contacted us. He knew and could feel that his absence amongst his friends and family was heavily felt. He was very pleased that his friends honored his death by placing a plaque on a wall, of the pool hall they visited. Trip understood that his friends wanted him to remain with them but he chose not to. He knew that his friends and family would be okay and it was time for him to go.
We bid Trip farewell and released him.
