I am an adventurer at heart and a certified diver. Maybe we could work in concert on a project. Could I send you some diagrams or satellite photos of an area to determine if there would be precious metals or a cache in its locale. I have done some research but have had limited experience with treasure hunting. Always willing to learn and try if you have some advice or ideas on the subject. Let me know if you think this is feasible. Please call at anytime.

Research is the very key to treasure hunting. You just don't buy a book or believe old myths passed on by people in the area. As far as the satellite pictures, unless it's blown up pretty good where you can identify terrains with clarity, can be difficult to pinpoint. The best is aerial pictures from a height of 2,000 feet. Pictures and videos are not a problem. 1:50K maps or topos will do just fine.
Treasure hunting is a man's dream but it becomes a goal once you pursue it. Perseverance is a prerequisite coupled with financial stability and know how are the basic traits of being a treasure hunter. Financial stability is most serious treasure hunters handicap.

Great Information. In my business, the aerial photos you need are not a problem. Let me collect a few for you.

I scanned your two overlapping topo's looking for gold bars, gold coins, jewelries, silver bars and coins, but to my suprise, not a sign of them. What I noticed was the "placer" formations starting from the bottom left quadrant toward the top left quadrant of the second map and to the center right. These are shootouts from the gold veins below. Don't know what kind of a terrain you have and who owns those areas but if your looking for a five foot depth, might as well get a gold nugget metal detector. What I meant by that was, these shootouts are not within your five foot limit. Some will be up and out but sitting on private land, BLM or a state property. Don't know the laws for your area. What you can do when you are flying, is to take a camera along and cruise at 2,000 feet. For some reason, this height will let you see the old trails or ancient paths that were made long ago. Then look for signs of old mining claims. The old miners seemed to have a knack of leaving trails, of abandoned mines, along the path of these shootouts.

I definitely have to go to your dowsing seminar sometime soon. I'd rather come out there and see Arizona again.
