I was told this by a friend who was there. Some years ago, he went with an old man to another man's property. They were prepared for a long trek through rough country. They had a pack mule to carry their gear and they all walked. When they arrived at the place, it was a cave entrance (very shallow), in the side of a canyon. In attempting to get down to the entrance, the mule broke a leg and had to be shot. They finally reached the cave but were unable to go in because of rattlesnakes and spiders. But worse than that was the feeling of a presence, of something else, that they could not see. It was so overpowering that they all scrambled out as fast as they could and got far away as fast as possible. My friend also told that a boy had been to the cave and came back with Spanish gold coins.

That is what stimulated the trip. I wanted to try the trip again but my friend wasn't much interested in it again. I still communicate with this person and would like someday to find this place. My friend has had many experiences of this or similar kinds and is fasinating to listen to. I know that one of the old men is dead now and the other, who owned the land, may be too. Sounds exciting huh?

If you started getting into treasure hunting, it could be very addictive. You'll never know what you will find out there. You just have to scrutinize a valid story and the exaggerated ones. How come the boy got in and got out of the cave without encountering any snakes? If you need some help let us know.
